Hjælp til sideopdeling

Hej udviklere!

Jeg sidder og kæmper med at opdele SQL udtræk i sider. Jeg fandt et lille script på nettet, men jeg har et lille problem med det.
Jeg antager det virker fint, problemet er bare, at det ikke trækker noget ud af min database. Lad mig lige give jer scriptet, og så hvad jeg tror fejlen er!

Jeg gætter på, at fejlen ligger i åbningen af databasen:
